Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Button Hop device powered? The device is equipped with 3 AA batteries that provide autonomy that can reach several years, depending on usage. This performance is made possible thanks to low energy consumption, even in environments where interactions are frequent.
How can Button Hop ensure such long autonomy? To maximize autonomy, the device integrates an advanced standby mode that significantly reduces consumption when not in use. It reactivates instantly as soon as a button is pressed or when a signal needs to be emitted.
Why do we use batteries? The autonomy needs of the device have been specifically designed for industrial environments, where access to power sources is limited and maintenance interruptions must be minimized. The selected components are designed to operate efficiently over long periods, even in difficult conditions. Moreover, simple AA batteries can easily be replaced to limit the time the device itself is under maintenance.
What to do if my Button Hop runs out of energy? If a battery replacement becomes necessary, the operation is simple, quick and does not require prolonged interruption of activities. This flexibility ensures optimal continuity in the use of Button Hop solutions. This operation can be performed by field teams.
A step towards CSR With its durability and low consumption, the device minimizes its ecological impact while reducing costs related to maintenance and frequent battery replacement.
How to know my battery level? The Button Hop device communicates its battery level with each call to allow supervision from your management interface. If the battery level reaches a critical threshold and requires replacement, you will be notified by the communication method you have chosen in the workflow specifically dedicated to this.
